We can still use readers for the Palm Sunday reading of The Passion.  Please e-mail Fr. Jason, rector@StMichaelsnorman.org  if you are interested.  Thank you.

Easter Flowers

Sunday bulletins April 9th will contain giving envelopes for anyone who would like to contribute towards our Easter flowers and other adornments.  Please leave you donation envelope in the offering plate or return it to the office.  Thank you.

Liturgical Walk-Through

Saturday, April 8, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

For everyone participating in the special services during Holy Week. This will be a time of instruction and clarification as to the many different roles of the lay ministers.

Palm Crosses

April 8, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Come out and learn the nearly lost art of making palm crosses.  We’ll need a couple of hundred made prior to Palm Sunday.  The more the merrier.  While others are learning their particular roles for Holy Week services, you can be part of the fun of making crosses and learning a new art form.  See you there!

Preparing Vestments for Holy Week

Please check the vestments you wear and take them home for cleaning prior to Holy Week.  They will need to be returned for use by Sunday, April 9th.  Thank you.

LOOKING FOR HOPE?

In the post-Easter season of renewal, Christi Madden and Robert Rickner invite you to join them in a weekly discussion of Cynthia Bourgeault's book "Mystical Hope."  We'll meet each Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary for five weeks. The book is short but packed with exciting insights; so please order a copy at Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com and read Chapter 1 to prepare to enjoy the first meeting on April 22.  (If you can't meet with us, get the book and read it anyway. We believe it can enrich your life, as it has ours.)
