NEW Wednesday Noon Eucharist

At St. Michael’s we live and share the love of Christ.
We are a place of belonging for ALL people where everyone is welcome at Christ’s table
St. Michael’s is made up of all kinds of people: traditional families, married, single, partnered folk, divorced persons, single parents, lesbian, gay, straight people, rich people, poor people, folks who have got it all together, folks who don’t, tea-totallers, people struggling with addiction, deeply spiritual people, not-so-spiritual people, people looking for meaning in life, people looking for a welcoming spiritual home. We come to worship with many varied beliefs and understandings about what we are doing and why (faith is not a set of beliefs about God; real faith is an abiding trust in God and a willingness to let our Creator create and shape our lives and beliefs). What we share in common is a desire to follow Jesus more closely and to be more like him. As diverse as we outwardly appear to be, we become one in worship, united in Thanksgiving and love for the Source of all that is in all its diversity. The Light, the treasure we celebrate, does not belong to us; it belongs to you too, no matter who you are, no matter what you’ve done. Come join us in the celebration!

PRIDE
Festival and Parade
May 2 and 3

We will be giving away mini-loaves of bread at the festival again this year. Last year we gave away over 600 loaves of love baked by many different people in our parish. Whether you bake 6 loaves or 100, every loaf makes a difference.
If you are willing to bake mini-loaves of bread, pick up one of our bread guidelines handouts or contact Laura Blazek. The bread needs to be at church ( can be placed in freezer- mark if for Pride,) by Friday, May 1st.
Volunteers are also needed to work 1 hour shifts at the festival on Saturdy May, 2nd @ Andrews Park in Norman and to walk the parade on Sunday, in downtown Norman.
More information is available at our Pride Weekend display at church. Contact Laura Blazek for more information if needed.
